Almond Milk Bubble Tea

Quench your thirst with this refreshing, healthy, homemade bubble tea made with our single-estate black teas. So why make bubble tea at home when they're quite ubiquitous? For starters, it is super easy. Second, it is healthy! Black tea has anti-oxidant properties, which are known to provide a host of health benefits. This recipe also uses almond milk (though you can use real milk or any milk substitute) and honey (as opposed to using artificial sweeteners). Enjoy this delicious, guilt-free, milk bubble tea!

Ingredients

Pearls

  • 1 Cup dried (boba) tapioca pearls
  • 1 tablespoons raw honey

Bubble Tea

  • 1 cup Any Black Tea from our Collection
  • 1 cup Almond milk tea
  • Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring 8 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Add the pearls and stir gently until they begin to float to the top.
  2. Turn the heat down to medium and cook for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat, cover, and let sit for another 20 minutes.
  4. Drain pearls and transfer to a small bowl. Mix in the honey and fully coat. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  5. Divide the pearls into three tall glasses.
  6. Add Harvest Moon black tea, milk, and ice.
  7. Add a wide straw, and enjoy!
