Avongrove Imperial White

An exclusive organic certified hand-picked Darjeeling tea, this tea is produced from tea bushes grown at an altitude of between 700 and 1700 m. It has a well balanced taste with sweetness and hints of vanilla, complemented and bound together by delicate undertones of soft luxury citrus fruits. The lingering flavour in the mouth makes this tea a sheer delight.

About the Estate. Adding one more feather to the crown of one of the best tea producing regions in India; Darjeeling, is the Avongrove tea estate. Avongrove, which means "Bird's Nest" in the local language of Darjeeling, is settled exactly like one at the foothills of the Himalayas, 2200 ft. above the sea level. This certified organic tea estate of Darjeeling has to its credit a sprawling 185 acre of plantation area that is known to produce very good quality spring and summer tea. Being settled on the banks of Balsan River, the tea estate has a perennial source of water; something which is rare in the case of other estates in the vicinity.
