This first flush Darjeeling tea is an exotic black from one of our favorite Darjeeling estates. The cool air and the fleeting sun makes this liquor redolent of the fresh flowers of spring like white lilies and geraniums. Light and extra smooth, the floral notes strike you right from the start and grow throughout. Nuanced hints of ripe fruits similar to muskmelon come along the middle and layer the cup beautifully. There is a citrusy tinge toward the end which fuses with refreshing notes of spring sap that makes up an outstanding aftertaste. Steep it one more time to relish flavors of raw mango and is best served iced for an incredible experience. This tea is certified organic.
